Dear Mr. Whitmer:
|
Dear Bob, |
| Dear Robert & Family: It was very much of a surprise to receive your letter in early March. We had begun to think that the Whitmers had vanished from the face of the earth and that we were in possession of a dinosaur. Then came the letter. it looks like you have undergone some corporate changes, but we are glad you are still around. As to our Porta-Morgue - As chance would have it, when we received your letter, the cooler had been in continuous operation for a month and was to run constantly for another two and a half weeks after that; nearly seven weeks without interuption. For us, that was a record. To say that it has changed the way we do business would not be exaggerated statement. It has performed flawlessly since we go it. It sits on a casket utility truck in our casket stock room. We had a dedicated outlet installed so nothing else would run on that circuit, which has been fine. Not too many people know it is there, but those who do cannot help to be impressed. It has had a very positive effect on our relationship with our assistant medical examiner. That is worth the price of admission, don't you think. As it sits, it is exactly even with our Ferno One Man stretcher, so that transfer for stretcher to cooler is very smooth. Coming out was another matter. In its original form, it was hard to slide the body out as easily as it went in. So I had my friendly cabinet maker design a platform. So far, so good! I can't help but think that, in the years since ours was built, you have found a solution to to the above described problem. Aside from sometimes wishing we had two, I cannot think of another way to improve the Porta-Morgue. With Kindest Regards, Celentano Inc. Funeral Home William C.
